I will overwhelm 'credible boxer' Jake Paul - Joshua
The British boxer prepares to battle Jake Paul in an eight-bout match which will be shown in real-time on the streaming platform.
British boxer Joshua declared he will "overwhelm entirely" the American and "defeat" his opponent as the pair confronted each other to publicize the upcoming heavyweight fight.
Former twice world title holder Joshua battles YouTuber-turned-boxer Jake Paul - in what is, on paper, a huge mismatch - at Miami's Kaseya Center on 19 December.
Boxer's Mindset
"I plan to damage his features and hurt his body. My goal is to show my superiority," Joshua, 35 years old, declared.
"I will dominate him completely. That's a fighter's mentality.
"I will seriously aim to injure him. That's my goal."
Civil Interaction
Despite those words, a relaxed Anthony Joshua and internet personality Jake Paul - usually known for his dramatics - were respectful and remained civil with each other.
Paul instead attacked former Joshua's rival the Cameroonian fighter and described him as "not serious" after Ngannou declined a bout proposal.
Taking Aim at Fury
Joshua, in the meantime, took aim at British opponent Fury - and rejected a large bet 'The Gypsy King' claims he will make on a victory for Paul.
"[Paul] is better than Fury - he's actually sitting here," Joshua said.
"I acknowledge that."
Serious Opponent
Despite stating he plans to damage his opponent, Joshua refused to speak negatively about his opponent's boxing ability.
"Jake is a credible opponent," he said.
Jake Paul's Background
Paul - who initially became famous on the Disney Channel - has primarily boxed MMA fighters or past-their-prime fighters since turning professional.
He lost to Briton Fury in last year.
Commercial Success
However, the novice is still one of the sport's biggest commercial attractions, consistently making massive financial rewards.
Prediction and Belief
The 28 year old anticipated a KO victory in round four or five and asserted he would stop the highly-expected match between Joshua and Fury, which is allegedly under discussion for 2026.
"It will be myself against Tyson Fury next year," Jake Paul said.

As both boxers met for the customary stare-down, with their physical disparity clearly visible, it drove home just how unlikely this entire matchup is - and how astonishing it is that the match is truly happening.
